Last night, I had a taste for a leg of lamb. So I took my family to the Greek Village Taverna restaurant on golf road where we each enjoyed different lamb dishes. And that was gooood.
In a patchwork design reminiscent of Greece, the interior of the restaurant was both spacious and attractive. A faux wall here, a balcony there, grapevines peaking from the ceiling and copper vases were a welcomed distraction while waiting for our dinners. A soft pleasant Greek instrumental was playing in the background.
I ordered, as you guessed it, a copious amount of roasted leg of lamb ($16.95). Tender to the fork and perfectly seasoned, this dish was served with an oven roasted potato spear topped with lemon and oregano and, a side of Mediterranean rice.
My family ordered the Braised Lamb ($14.95) in a white wine and zesty tomato sauce and, the Grilled Garlic Calamari ($13.95) in a huge bowl dish. It was one of those lucky decisions that made everyone happy.

Thanks, the new place to try a great leg of lamb. I have a hard time spending the money when so few places really do it well.
